The retail price for all brand-name Nexium 24HR has increased by 16.7% to $8.10 per tablet from $0.13 to $1.16 per tablet. The price for the generic version is expected to increase to $2.27 per tablet from $0.13 to $0.32 per tablet.
Walgreens says it has received final price adjustments in the same manner as previous generics.
